I was told this caption by an online pastor that I listen to, C S Lewis messages.
In the comments I ask this question.
I revealed just how "I didn't undersand why I, at 81 years old , my husband of 59 years of marriage was taken in death. Just why was I left to indure this struggle? I said in the comments, " I know I will see him again, we are both Christ followers."
He replyed with this caption: "Have faith...God will lead you to your Greatest destiny."
That puzzled me to the extent that I began to research just what is my Greatest destiny?
When life doesn't make sense, I find this is when God is working behind what we do not see.
Have you been going through a life struggle that you just don't understand?
Do you see that this could mean that God is doing a work in your life that you would never have succome to, had you not had this struggle come upon you.
As I began doing more and more research I had things open to me that showed me, and I want to encouraage , and share with you .
Do you realize, that with me and you dear one that's struggling, our faithfullness, actually will reveal that , " we are a chosen one " and highly favored by God.
I had no idea what that could mean.
Psalms 5: 12 " Surley, Lord you bless the righteous: you surround them with your favor as with a shield."
Psalms 139:4 states " before a word is on my tongue, you, Lord know it completely. And verse 5 states You hem me in behind me and before me you lay your hand unpon me."
And James 1:12 "Blessed is the man who stays steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those that love Him."
So I am understanding that our FAITH turns into Gods Favor. Showing you, my Christ follower, that you have not been forgotten, you are marked and set apart for greatness by the favor of God.
I am leaning that what I saw as broken, God uses to make beautiful. There is a purpose for your pain. What you and I thought would break us, God will use for good.
Oh, the story of Joseph. Genius 39:2 All that happened to him by his brothers, all they did to hurt him. (Have you been hurt by someone?) God had all along a powerful end for Joseph. Because, in all things Joseph remained faithfull. Joseph didn't chase success, sucess chased him. He was a chosen one.
Now, we go on with sorrow and to some of you, great pain, but, if we stay Faithfull, as C.S Lewis message in reply to my comment, you will see that what you thought was to break you is really leading you to your " Greatest Destiny". Stay FAITHFUL, God has chosen you for Great Favor.
